"I went to see Rosie when I had excruciating pain in my wrist. I’d been working on my boat doing a lot of intricate work with my hands and tools; very strenuous on my hands. Using NeuroMuscular Reprogramming, Rosie figured out that the muscles in my forearm and hand were out of balance. She then proceeded to release and rebalance them, and by the end of the session, my wrist was as good as new."

“I went to Rosie Liebe for rehab on my shoulder after a bike accident where I broke 5 ribs. She picked up where the physical therapist didn’t tread which was to work my muscles back to health. At the same time I love to run but had to give it up 3 years ago because of severe pain in my calves. I went to doctors, chiropractors etc. and all were poorly equipped to deal with muscle problems. Rosie identified the problem on the first visit. After three sessions, I was running again! Rosie also helped me strategize how to avoid the pain in the future including more effective calf and hamstring stretches. These sessions are now part of my regular ‘keep fit’ program. Absolutely outstanding results!”

"I've had chronic shoulder pain for almost 10 years! I spent 5 years on workman's comp with every type of physical therapy under the sun. I finally gave up and said I'll just live with it. It has gotten better over time, but there was still a nagging ache.
I went to see Rosie 2x and she helped me finally get rid of the pain. Gone! I had made sure to get my work situation ergonomically correct and I had been exercising. But she helped realign whatever was funky in there so that everything was working smoothly.
She's a different masseuse - not the regular blank out, deep rub, muscle mush. She actually works to make sure whatever is not working gets fixed. Its almost like physical therapy. It still feels good! But it is more medical -- in a good way.
If you have injuries or nagging pain, give her a call. She can work wonders!"

"I have been in competitive athletics my entire life including competing at the collegiate, national and international level. I’m telling you this because I have been treated by numerous body work professionals over my last 3 decades of athletics. I can tell you hands down, that Rosie is truly the Dr. of Muscles. I feel cheated by everyone I went to in the past. Their level of understanding the true interaction of muscles and body work pales in comparison to what Rosie can do. Instead of just working on the sore spot, Rosie is able to discern that the issue could be caused by something on the opposite side, the opposite quadrant or the opposite end of your body and resolves the issue by training your muscle groups to work together again in harmony. She also educates you on why this is happening so you can be aware and it’s not always what you think.
Rosie cured my tennis elbow, which before was being treated with cortisone shots. She was able to discern that my issue wasn’t up in my elbow at all, but that my grip was the cause of my pain and through body work with Rosie, this has been resolved. About two years ago, I had lower back pain and after seeing orthopedist, chiropractor and then Rosie, Rosie was the only one who could alleviate my pain. Her work with soft tissue injuries has allowed me to walk freely without pain, play rigorous tennis and race on sailboats again without popping the Aleve constantly.
I have also brought Rosie my tight calves from wearing high heels all day and also my sore feet and ankles from earlier sprains. I no longer wake up in the morning hobbling while my feet, ankles or calves warm up for the day. Being a busy professional and am no stranger to airports, Rosie has been able to sooth my “airplane back” and release my tight muscles from hunching over a laptop all day."

"Rosie is not only warm and compassionate, but absolutely expert in her knowledge of the body. This is more than a feel-good massage -- I actually feel my body learning how to do things differently when I'm on her table. If you're recovering from a sudden or repetitive injury, she's the CMT for you."

"My knee had been bugging me for some time. I had had surgery years ago when they removed part of my meniscus. Most recently, after doing some more stepping up and down than usual, it seemed to have flared up. I had to walk very carefully to avoid the sharp pain that would otherwise ensue in my knee. Rosie evaluated the musculature around my knee and found that my inner quads were weak, my glutes were weak, and my calf muscles had been doing most of the work: they were as hard as a rock. With NeuroMuscular Reprogramming, Rosie rebalanced these muscles. At the end of the session, Rosie showed me some good stretches for my calves to help with releasing them further. As I walked out of the treatment room, I noticed how differently my knee felt: a lot more stable, no need to walk so carefully anymore. I already have my next session scheduled to continue with this work. Amazing."

"Rosie has an amazing touch. Her extensive knowledge and skill set allows her to get down to root of what is going on in the body and help the body to heal. She has magic hands!
She is very professional and easy to talk to. The moment I met her I knew I was in great hands. I have recommended her to all of my friends and patients! I know that when they go to see her they are going to receive the best of care."

“Rosie is an amazing body worker! I have referred her to several friends and we now call her "body whisperer." Anyone who wants an out-of'-this-world massage experience should go to Rosie.”
Kathleen C., Oakland, CA.
“Rosie is an experienced, skilled body worker. She diligently puts my body back together every few weeks after whatever adventure I have just subjected it to! She is constantly learning and applying new skills and information so that her work is never just a repeat of the prior session. Additionally, she brings an optimistic empathy that allows me to relax more deeply. Rosie is an intuitive interpreter of the body who shares the insights she is learning about me with me so I can make changes in how I support and strengthen my body.”

"Rosie Liebe is a gifted masseuse! It's true, if you want the kinks worked out, go to her. She really pinpointed my issues with the NMR (see Lauren C.'s review). I do a lot of repetitive motions in my job and build up a lot of knotted muscles from my neck through my shoulder blades down to my arms and hands. She worked on me for an hour and I feel amazing! She really tries to educate herself as to what is going on with your body. I can't wait till my next appointment!!! Thanks Rosie!"
Aviva M., Oakland, CA.
"Rosie has magic hands! She's all about figuring out the best massage technique for you and your needs, and is knowledgeable in many different areas to be able to provide exactly what you need. She has extensively studied a really specific type of muscle work called Neuromuscular Re-education (NMR) which helps to retrain injured muscles so that they can function properly again, so that problems can actually heal, versus coming back over and over again. She's extremely professional and approachable, and is just fun to be around. I go to her myself, and I've referred many others to her, including my husband and parents, and they've all be very happy with her work. She does great de-stressing and relaxation work, as well as intensive therapeutic work. I highly recommend Rosie and her magic hands!"

"Rosie has an amazing understanding of the body and multiple massage techniques available to her skilled hands. Each massage is a little different, all depending on what you have going on in your body at the time. She is expertly skilled at finding exactly the spot(s) that needs to be fixed and using the most appropriate tools to help you walk out feeling brand new. Need a blissful, relaxing, let-go massage? Rosie is your LMT. Working with structural issues like frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel or sciatica? Rosie is your LMT. Worked a little to hard in the garden this weekend and are now feeling stiff? Rosie can work out and remove all those kinks. Her rates are incredibly reasonable given how skilled she is and she offers gift certificates for your loved ones.
Rosie Liebe with the Gift of Touch - she truly is a gifted massage therapist and I recommend her without reservation."

“I highly recommend making a massage appointment with Rosie! After I made an intense deadline 2 weeks ago I felt really tense and achy so I made an appointment to see a wonderful practitioner, Rosie Liebe. Rosie's massage studio in Berkeley was very comfortable and she made sure I was warm and hydrated. We enjoyed a little pleasant conversation and then some long periods of deep silence as she worked on releasing kinks in my back and neck. It was heavenly! Because I had so much neck tension she spent a lot of extra time working exactly on the places that needed it. I am an experienced bodyworker and I was impressed by the sensitivity and skill of her touch. Rosie has a great gift with her hands and her heart. After the session I felt like I had dropped 20 pounds of stress! Thank you Rosie, for making your miraculous talents available to us.”

"As an endurance athlete I know how important taking care of your body is and regular massages are a key component of my recovery after a 100-mile ride or 20-mile run. I have been going to Rosie for about 2 years and she's always been very attentive to any special needs or areas that need attention as a result of the stress I put on my body. She also has a compassionate demeanor and creates and atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and relaxed.
Tom K., San Francisco, CA.
“Certainly- She’s got the gifted touch! As an Ultra endurance cyclist I had put my body through rigorous and abusive training that demanded someone with Rosie’s abilities. She is capable to engage in a communication with my body allowing me to re-gain my natural muscular integration, relaxation with the ability to recover and improve faster than usual. Give Rosie the chance to know what your body needs and you’ll be pleased!”
Juan Jimenez, Berkeley, CA.
“Rosie is amazing. She's been instrumental in helping me manage my carpal tunnel and repetitive stress disorder. She's been the first person to have been able to have helped in all the years I've dealth with it. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She's knowledgeable and professional and flat out nice. Other people's massages make me feel as if I need to go get a massage afterwards. Hers don't. Go see her."
